Youth News
As we enter the new
school year and the "real world", many of you will face new teachers, new
classes and sometimes new problems.
The Bible teaches us that
we should always ask God for protection and guidance when we prepare for an
unknown future. King David, writer of many of the Psalms, spent much of his
life in perilous conditions. I know he didn't have to face school, homework,
meeting different people, and the teenage challenges of today; but, he had
his own set of troubles. David attributed his survival to God as expressed
in Psalms 18 and 27 as well as many others.
You do not know what this
year has in store for you. There will be times you will learn and there will
be times of having fun. There will be times you will need to work hard and
probably times you will be angry and unhappy.
Do what David did. Pray
to God, ask for wisdom and seek His plan for your life this school year. If
you let God lead you, it will be a great year.
